Mosaic Theatre is presently seeking INTERNS in the areas of... Acting, Arts Management, Casting, Costume Design, Directing, Dramaturgy, Electrics, Lighting Design, Production, Properties, Scenic Design, & Stage Management.

* Assist on Mosaic Theatre productions and special projects

A Mosaic Theatre intern offers the rare opportunity where participants learn about the workings of a professional theater from a "hands-on" approach. Internships provide young artists with the first step into the theatrical community working directly under the supervision of professional artistic, production, and administrative staffs.

Mosaic Theatre will make every effort to afford the intern the greatest possible flexibility in scheduling hours. If interns wish to receive academic credit for an internship, arrangements can be made with his or her school. Each intern will be required to provide a written evaluation of his or her internship upon completion.

Interns receive no pay. However, some interns may be hired for employment on a case-by-case basis. There is no housing provided, but the theatre will help the intern to locate available housing.

Internships will be awarded on the basis of the following:

a) Completed intern application form

b) Resume of theater and related experience

c) Two letters of recommendation

d) Interview and portfolio (Design applicants only)

e) Audition (Acting only)
